Here she is. Isn't she lovely? This bloom burst out on Sunday morning, definitely worth waiting for. And then, yesterday, she bloomed again!
In contrast, the stunted little iris stalk in the backyard is still just a bud. It looks shivery cold and just can't bring itself to bloom. Poor thing. I wonder if I should cut it and bring it into the warm house as well? That outside bud has been there for a week. The little lady inside has even begun to set out a third bloom. She must be enjoying the warmth of the indoors. Come to think of it, so am I. :)
