What happens next, is dependent upon my imagination. woohoo. It may be a week before I get back to them.Last month our guild was asked to make doll quilts for the San Joaquin Woodworkers, to give as Christmas gifts to the underprivileged. They will be wrapped around dolls and placed in cradles. I took a break last night and whipped this together. Perhaps it will be quilted and bound by morning.
The bulk of my time has been spent hunched over this quilt-for-hire. I'm almost done with the borders. It's a Tennessee Waltz. Once the borders are quilted, I'll be left with just the white part to play in. I hope to have it finished within the next week. Goals are good.
Apparently Blogger has decided that all cards need to be turned on their ear. This one was made at retreat. I embellished it on Monday night and mailed it yesterday. Happy Birthday, Kathy!

My father-in-law is president of the SJ Woodworkers and he appreciates those little doll quilts so much. One year I made about 18 of them (just 2 pieces of fabric quickly put together) so they would have enough. I know the kids just love them and those woodworkers just love making those cradles.
