Day Trip

It's been a long time since I've had a chance to visit with Penny and her Mumsy. It's now been even longer since I've seen her Papa, as he was at work when I made my mad dash to the Bay Area.

Doesn't she look all grown up in her plaid skirt and tights? She's getting into the holiday spirit.

mmmm. Mum's scarf tastes like chocolate!

I brought Penelope a new hat, courtesy of Ann. Mum? Do I look cute?

I don't think it matches my outfit. Would you like to try it on?

Okay, I'll put it here for later.

Penelope is the Imelda Marcos of hats. This one matched her outfit, so she was content to leave it in place. Eight month old fashionista. Who knew there was such a thing?

We stopped for lunch at Lulu's, where Penny was willing to have her picture taken with Gramma.

After the big people ate, the little person had her lunch.

mmm. Homemade green beans! Delicious!

Now I think I'll chew on my finger for a while, for dessert.

Okay, you caught me! Yes, I am growing teeth! Number three popped through on Saturday, and number four should be here any day.

Excuse me, but if you were teething, you'd be drooling too!!

mmmm. Chocolate!

You ought to try it some time. yum!

And for her first Christmas, Mum got a tree and Gramma made a stocking. So far the tree hasn't made much of an impression, but she did like the jingle bells. :)

And there they are, my girls. Hugs and kisses, Sweeties! See you again soon!
