On The Run

On Saturday, I went to the Bakersfield Quilt Show. It was lovely! I spent much too much money, on baskets and a wool batt for a client and a few odds and ends. I also dropped off one of my Berninas at Strawberry Patches for service.

On Sunday, I went to church, went shopping, cleaned house and prepared dinner for at least 9 people. I think it was more. I don't remember. We have a College/Career group that meets here every Sunday for dinner and Bible study. It's all a blur...

On Monday, I cleared a path to my sewing table, and was able to get another of my Berninas out of the room to take to Bakersfield yesterday.

On Tuesday, I went to Bakersfield, and got ALL THREE of my Berninas serviced. woohoo!! I'm so glad to have been able to do it in one day! No more trips to Bfield for a while, yay!!

And I bought samples of paint for the outside of the remodel. Sunshine yellow, with white trim. I think the contractor is cringing.

And I bought sinks. And looked at faucets and toilets, and worried about a vanity.

And took no pictures at all.

Today I head over to the home of our BOTV Featured Artist, to help select the quilts that will hang in her booth at our April show. And then I will head to San Carlos, to do some visiting with my favorite daughter and her family.

Perhaps this time, I will remember to bring along my camera and actually USE it!

And quilting? Maybe on Friday, after I meet with the folks at McDermont Field House. We've got a quilt show to launch in April, and the window of prep time is quickly dwindling.

Run, run, fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread man!!! :)

And she's gone...
