Good And Bad

I've been catching up on my blog reading and notice a bit of frustration regarding comments and the "prove you're not a robot" moderation. I've been so far behind, I hadn't noticed. hmmm. Mine now has a double word verification. Yesterday I removed it, which I thought would be good. So far I've had three spam comments, which is bad. Sorry, but I'm going to reinstall the verification, as I'm not particularly fond of spam.

The painters have finished the touch-ups on the building, and are finally tackling the front door. This is good.

Today the temperature dropped and the wind is blowing sideways. There is no rain, and the sky is full of dirt and petals. This is bad.

If you are a cat in my backyard, I will feed you. These are my four cats, all together, for a rare photo op.

If you are a good cat, I will allow you to sleep on my bed.

If you're a bad cat, you have to find your own box in the backyard. Don't worry Malcolm, no one wants to take your box.

And I guess that's it. Just wanted to let you know that word verification is back. It's a nuisance, but it's necessary.

The double word verification is a pain but better than getting spam. It's amazing how much it stopped. I don't mind the verification when I go on other's blogs. I don't always get it right the first time too because they are hard to read, but I eventually get it.

Yes, some of the words are difficult to read. What happened to the single words? I liked those. Mostly because they sounded so silly, but I could still read them.

I can understand your frustration with spammers. I have been getting so many slimy emails lately. I block them from reaching my account, then they just change their email address and back they come. Very annoying.
