Sunday Morning

We had one last visit with our almost-birthday girl, and we met up at Starbucks. She loves to watch the passersby.

But she'll visit with her grandparents too...

She's trying to snap her fingers, signing that she just saw a dog. She's also smiling because Daddy's treating her to a bit of cheese Danish.

I think the wayward foot is particularly cute.

She's looking for the same reaction from Daddy...

When we got back to the house, I tried to get her to pose with her quilt. See the blurry arm? She's tossing it away as quickly as I put it on her.

Again with the blur. No, no! I don't want a picture with the quilt!

Hurry! Grab the camera! I want some pictures with this birthday girl and her quilt!

Come on, hold still!

Smile for Grandpa!

Come on, you can do it!

And then Grandpa gets a hug and kisses,

and a bear hug for good measure,

And then she gives him a look,

And he rewards her by making her stand.

And all too soon, it was time to return home. Bye, Sweetheart! Have a Happy Birthday!!

She is so CUTE! ...and her quilt is fun ...I love ladybugs and because of the spots it reminds me of them.

Did you knit her sweater? It looks like a BSJ. So cute too.

Blessings on you and yours, Suzanne.
