Our house was built in 1988. It is 2012. Our carpet is 24 years old, and looks older. We've talked of new carpet for at least 3 years, but nothing has been done. This week, I made progress. I've looked at samples, and even brought some home. I thought I wanted green, but most of the dark greens look charcoal, and the lighter greens look yellow. Perhaps a pale beige?

Naw, not a fan of the beige. I like the green. This is more like it.

They had no interest in any of the other samples, once they'd seen the green.
That's the haps around here. That, and I'm working on a challenge that I can't share. boo, hoo, hoo. You'll see it in a few months. For now, you'll have to be satisfied with kitty pics and amaranth.
