Progress Report

Well.  Last week's goal was to cut out two costumes, and work on the quilt-for-hire.  I hit a few snags in the costume-cutting department - wrong size, and not enough fabric - but eventually was able to cut out both.  I spent yesterday and today preparing to dress a princess.
When Penny saw the dress on FaceTime, I told her that it didn't fit anyone at my house.  She looked at it and said, "I want...I need to go to Gramma's house!"  She thinks it will fit her.  :)

It's size 4, and I'm concerned it might be a tad big.  That's why I made this one first, in case I need to make a smaller one.  Belle will be the focus of the coming week.

Here's a picture taken this morning of Malcolm (age 13), Happy and Homeless.  Over the past 2-3 weeks, he's lost half of his body weight, and is suddenly very boney.  He gives the dog the stinkeye, and they leave him alone.  Such a difference between their relationship and those with the other cats. One bark sends all the other cats over the fence.  I wish they could come to some sort of agreement.  While these dogs are here, the cat spa seems to have gone out of business.  :(  I miss seeing the felines hanging out around the pool, just chillin'.

Goal for this week:  Sew Belle.  Goals are good!

Look at those adoring faces turned up to their momma! Love the princess dress. I'm sure Miss Penny will LOVE it.

Miss Penny is going to think she is walking on clouds of glitter.
