On Thursday, I made it over to Common Threads, for their October meeting. The guest speaker was Andi Perejda. I love Andi, and her work, so it was a double delight to both see the Hanford guild gals and visit again with Andi.
Of all her quilts, I have to say that this one is my favorite. The photo does not do it justice. The texture and beading are hidden from view. Suffice it to say, I fell in love with it at Paducah. Yes, I love it so much I would marry it. ;) (I crack myself up. sorry.)
Sewing hasn't made much progress around here, at least not much that I'm willing to share. Perhaps by tomorrow, I will have more for you. Belle is still in pieces. I've appliqued a few surfboards, and made a birthday gift...
Today's goal: to get something of substance to share by tomorrow. Goals are good!

I really enjoyed meeting her. Her class was most enjoyable, I have so much more to learn about being precise, however she made me feel comfortable about where I was at.
Remember Suzie it is not about winning it is how you run the race.
